INDIA'S Cheapest Tablet Aakash configuration ,Price | Reviews

Few days ago India's Telecomm. And I.T. minister Kapil Sibbal announced cheapest tablet of India which has been developed by IIT team  and aims at providing internet connectivity to all the students across the nation.
The 7 inch Tablet powered by android 2.2 version looks impressive and has been priced very low. It has been priced INR 2500-3000/- and it is available at 50 % subsidy for students .
The price is unbelievable. The tablet is developed by Datawind Ltd.

Updated (7th jan 2012) :
Recently an Updated and advanced version of the Aakash tablet is launched that is known as Ubislate 7+ version of aakash tablet. It has overcomed some limitatons of older versions.

Whats new in Ubislate 7 +(Upgraded version of Aakash Tablet):
1. Powered by Andriod 2.3 version. Earlier one comes with Andriod 2.2  version.
2. Battery of 3200 mAh. Thus increasing the battery running time.
3. Powered by Cortex A8 processor of 700 Mhz.
4. Price increased by Rs 499 It is available for Rs 2999/-.
5.Network :-Wifi and GPRS (using SIM card).
